Dress me up in your love

(2011-2012)

Revealing, sexy and sometimes startling, Theatre Replacement once again delves into the world of biographical examination with their work, Dress me up in your love. Using distinct garments collected from around the world, performers dress and undress to reveal in text, song and movement the stories behind the clothes and the closets they came from. Featuring live music from Vancouver composer and singer Veda Hille, Theatre Replacement's signature style of working with found material results in a mash-up of personal stories gathered and retold, from the banal and everyday to the critical moments and turning points that shape our lives.
